Looking for ideas on necromantic and death theam boon's.

So I have a encounter with a death domain cleric and a Trickster spellcaster called jack o lantern. I have 3 PC's a dragon born barbarian, human rogue with a sniper rifle, tiefling blue dragon sorcerer. I'm looking for boon's that can be nice to each one but come with a draw back.

Any ideas on I have my game tonight.

Who would give the boon, and why are they giving boons to the adventurers?

Im thinking maybe the trickster might be granting the boon as a sort of bad deal? I dunno.

Could give the sorcerer blood magic maybe. Give him some extra sorcery points but make it cost him hitpoints equal to twice the amount of sorcerer points he is spending or something like that.
