Zo, here's the skinny: Current game is coming to an end in the coming months and I want to be ready to have something else.

I'd like to see if a 'bard'/invoker theurge is possible. So this means advancing Bard or Beguiler and Warlock or DFA at the same time (more options, better options, may exist).

What is the most efficient way to do this? Eldritch disciple, eldritch theurge or some third method that uses another method of entry?

most important to me is to maintain the 'casting' on both sides, anything else is gravy.

I'd like to see if a 'bard'/invoker gestalt is possible. So this means advancing Bard or Beguiler and Warlock or DFA at the same time (more options, better options, may exist).

Two questions.

By gestalt, you mean the UA rules or a double progression?

And what do you want to get from each class? A mono-DFA, for example, with draconic aura and beguling influence could also be able to emulate some bardic flavor. Or a wizard/DFA/dual-class-progression PrC...

Spell and invocation progression.

I also mistyped gestalt when I meant to type theurge.

The first thing that comes to mind is:
- DFA, to have a breath weapon (which can be enhanced to do some BFC, too), dragontouched and invocations
- Specialist wizard (Illusion or Enchantment),
- Draconic Aura, to have a suitable replacement for bardic music,
- Eldritch theurge (with minimal adaptation), for the double progression,
- Uncanny trickster or legacy champion, if you want a slightly better chassis (including more skill points); otherwise stay with the eldritch theurge.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any feat that specifically supports the double progression (but Fey Power [CMag] is flavorful and useful); also, you don't easily qualify for Ultimate Magus.

Besides this proposal, the only things I can think of are dirty tricks, like the Phaerimm and other shaenigans.

Eldritch Theurge might be your best shot.
You could also use the prestige bard, advancing your invocation class

Prestige Bard on an invoker works? ...Interesting...

EDIT: Actually, it only seems to advance existing casting, and not add bard casting. Or Spells. Or slots. Unfortunate.

Beguiler 4/Warlock 1/Eldritch Theurge 10/Legacy Champion 5. Using a Chasuble of Fell Power to qualify for ET, and using Legacy champion to advance the "+1 level of existing arcane spellcasting class and +1 level of existing invocation-using class" feature of ET by another 4 levels. Beguiler Casting 18/Warlock Invocations 15.

Requires a somewhat questionable reading of how Legacy Champion class advancement works.

Start as a Warlock, then enter Hearthfire Fanner.

Bard 4/ Warlock 3/ Eldritch Theurge 2/ Mindbender 1/ Sublime Chord 2/ Eldritch Theurge 8

Doesn't need a Chasuble of Fell Power to qualify for Eldritch Theurge.

Apply Mindbender to your Bard casting for the required 3rd level spells for Sublime Chord.

You'll have Bard 7 casting, Sublime Chord 10 casting, and Warlock 13 blast and invocations.

Two interesting approaches there. I like Thurbane's more initially because it lines up better with my expectations, but then I had not even considered Sublime Chord.
