How many X-crawl Players are around here?
Is it popular?

This is perhaps better posted in the forum for non-D&D games (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?60-Older-D-amp-D-AD-amp-D-and-Other-Systems).

I was originally going to post it there but the index tags didn't have it so I decided to index it under D&D 3/3.5 rules, I'll put it over there.

Why? X-Crawl is a D20 fantasy game, like Slayers D20 and The Black Company D20. It clearly belongs in here with all the other fantasy D20 stuff.

I see nothing wrong with posting it here. Its a D&D setting with rules for 3rd and PF.

Anyways, to the OP. I have played the game before and thought it was a freakin' blast. A number of the rules banning certain spells and the necessity on staying inside and finishing the dungeon within a certain time frame really makes for a challenge. One X-Crawl game I played in marks probably my favorite gaming experience in the whole of D&D.
As for popularity? Not sure. It's fairly uncommon to see people posting about it specifically, which is a shame.

I have the book, I've read it. It looks awesome. Not yet had a chance to play it.
Someday maybe.

Likewise.
I've got most of the setting in PDF and once owned the hardback core book.
I'm in the process of giving the core a cover to cover read through.
I'd love to find other players in the setting and possibly throw something together in Roll20.
I was just wondering if it had much of a following or if we were few and far between.
