Pathfinder: Polearm specialist

Hello and Good Evening.
I will soon Be taking part in a low level PF Game (Low To Mid magic)
and I want to Play a Polearm wielding Melee Monster.

I plan to make use of path of War's Style for polearm user, But that's where I am stuck. I Would like to know if.

1: Should I take one of the classes from Path of war

2: Should I Take Fighter and Take the Myrmidon Stuff to get Martial Ability and gain some feats and weapon & Armor Training

Also looking for a well Rounded weapon, Any that be good for skillfull fighter

What does "low-to-mid" magic actually entail? Because, while you can make a perfectly serviceable DPR/lockdown pole-arm build using non-magical Path of War material, there are also a lot of possibilities here to dial it up to 11 if you play some kind of gish or are using UMD, too.
