Contingent recall and resurrection; how does it work?

Hoary hunters have 1/day contingent recall and resurrection. If a hoary hunter dies while dimensional anchored, does it vanish? (contingent recall and resurrection is an epic spell) And if it doesn't vanish, does it act as the contingent resurrection spell?

It wouldn't vanish, but it would resurrect.
