If I try to use a forum emoji such as :mitd: (I inserted the MitD emoji here), it will be sent to the very bottom of the post.

If I use more than one emoji :elan: (I inserted the Elan emoji here), all emojis in the post will be sent to the bottom of the post.

The original code used for this post:

If I try to use a forum emoji such as :mitd: (I inserted the MitD emoji here), it will be sent to the very bottom of the post.

If I use more than one emoji :elan: (I inserted the Elan emoji here), all emojis in the post will be sent to the bottom of the post.

Quoting also reveals the original positions of the emojis. What could be possible reasons for emojis not appearing where they should be? The two emojis I used above will appear here instead:

The emojis look wrong on Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115. On Firefox 50.1.0, the emojis are in the correct positions.

I'm also running Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115, and it looks fine on my end.

On a public computer, also on Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115, and the emojis are still pushed to the bottom of the post.

When I 'browse as guest' or create a new profile to use in the same Chrome browser, the emoijis are displayed correctly. I must'ved muffed my settings, but which ones? Javascript? I can't begin to imagine.
