So I was fiddling around with it, and I've often wanted to play a mage that does BCC and about 2% of anything else, so I was wondering how heavily focused on teleport spells a character could actually be. I'm looking for the full 9 yards here, including going conjuration spec, focused spec, and that long list of prestige classes that would be applicable to help get down to Conj and Div spells only.

Thoughts?

Well there's the Transposition spells

Anticipate Teleportation is probably something you want

Also, if you're not opposed to 3rd party stuff, the wheel of time d20 rpg has a couple TP spells, one of which can be used as a weapon

Wayfarer Guide (Complete Arcane) is about the teleports, but most classes are better. A standard (Focused) Conjurer5/Incantatrix10/Full Casting5 is still wonderful as a Wizard and you get Abrupt Jaunt. (If your GM lets you stack Domain Wizard and Elf Wizard Generalist substitution levels, strongly consider doing so. Let us not debate the legality in this thread.)

But using (lesser) planar binding to bind something to use the warps at will (like a Nightmare or Lantern Archon - even if you need to be in a Portable Hole or such while it warps you) is more likely what you want instead of doing all the warping yourself.

Actually no. No it isn't "more likely what I want." I want a specialized wizard that does teleports, and only teleports, for the sake of BFCC. Ya know, kinda like I pointed out in the OP. But hey, I'm just the guy who wrote it, with an idea in mind. You probably know my brain far better than I. Silly me.

Or any amount of lore on Waterdeep or Undermountain, right? Or play the Neverwinter nights game.

@Buofreak: I misunderstood your original intent. You seemed to want to focus on teleports as a player, and binding creatures would allow you to do so.

Wayfarer Guide is normally a 'meh' or 'ick' PrC from Complete Arcane that lets you do better things with teleport.

Perhaps go Sorcerer with (greater) arcane fusion loops and teleport. (Link (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?351097-So-what-is-the-Arcane-Fusion-infinity-loop))

What are your game's parameters like starting level/wealth, allowed sources, style of play, other players/characters, etc.?

You might be interested in Spheres of Power (http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/), which allows for spellcasters who focus in nothing but Teleportation something that is viable even at 1st level through use of the Warp sphere (http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/warp).

I didn't really specify parameters because I wanted to leave it fairly open ended. I think the only thing I wanted locked in was focused specialist (conjuration) and other classes that would gradually let me drop off other schools for the boon of cool teleportation tricks. Outside that, anything 3.PF is fair game.
