So I found this Miniature. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005MUB5N4/ref=mp_s_a_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1500567754&sr=8-1-spell&pi=AC_SX130_SY188_QL65&keywords=wardrums+axe

I took a liking to it despite it's simplistic design. I guess I am just a sucker of realistic proportions.

Does anyone else own such a Miniature like this? How does it look in reality?

I own a few of the D&D Minis. They're plastic (not sure if they make metal) and can take a beating. They don't look as good as advertised, but they're still fine quality. There's a little bit of color bleeding and they can bend out of shape if left in the wrong position. I've really enjoyed them. They never fall over and I can just throw them in a box without having to worry about paint scuffing.

I own 300 plus minis from the WOTC brand but not that one. Nice hard plastic and durable .
The picture you see is an example so dont expect it to be painted exactly as shown , could be worse or even painted better . I kinda think you are paying too much .

That miniature should come with a 3rd edition stat card. Perhaps you should ask about that ?
This is a secondary market sale . Those minis were part of Booster packs of 8 randoms .
Its also out of print but so many were made that we are all good for a few more years.

I am sure you will be very happy with it . I buy mine from Noble Knight on ebay . They have awesome deals especially near Christmas .

This miniature isn't really worth $9.50 (or whatever price you would get it + shipping). It is a bit undersized.

The miniature is fine as a nameless grunt guard or something, but I wouldn't pay a lot of money for it.

Do you have an equivalent miniature to suggest to the OP? One that gets your approval. A specific one with a link.

Well, to be honest, I was looking for a miniature similar to this character...

Well, not exactly like this, but I thought a woman with a polearm and armor (Could be any armor, but no chainmail bikini's or anything like that!) miniature would be nice...

Its fine can make for a great pc arc of trust use that one all the time finally remove your helmet and have another one.its also fine just because sometime simple is beautiful.its simplistic its well made and painted well .it would work well as just being a pc as is. But i dont play these games for realism i play them to ve ab avenging angel or a half devil with the penchant for good regardless of nature. A dark elf who would atab and shoot for justice

I personally wouldn't pay $10 for that*, and it's on the high end for miniatures of that size, material, etc. If it's worth it for you though, go for it.

With that said: 3d printing is getting increasingly easily available, and it works really well for minis. For instance, here's (https://www.thingiverse.com/SinnerDragoon/collections/rpg-miniatures/) a small collection of files optimized for 3d printing. It's not particularly well suited for what you want, but it's also the first thing that came up when I looked up "thingiverse RPG mini" on google. Here's (https://www.shapeways.com/designer/mz4250/creations?s=48#more-products) 300 free D&D specific printable minis, although a few commercial ones are mixed in. Some games have 3d models you can extract as well, some quite intentionally.

*I don't really use minis much, but I'm not above cheapo plastic tokens with some painting, and they're cheap, low volume, and can look pretty good. Me not being willing to shell out more than about $0.10 worth of printer plastic doesn't mean you shouldn't buy a mini.

Reaper has a large line of mini's, many of which should meet your needs. They used to have a pretty good filtering system on their website, to help you find what you're looking for. Heroforge (https://www.heroforge.com/) is another option, highly customizable, but I can't vouch for price.

Heroforge is about three times as much if you want a paintable plastic mini, but, you could come up with a female shieldmaiden with a pole arm in a variety of poses. I've just heard the paint falls off their cheapest plastic, and they describe its paintability as minimal.

A Bit too "metal" for my tastes, to be honest. The top one looked nice, but I don't imagine my character being that well armored.

Have you entertained the idea of paper minis?

How about these. Pretty cheap, might need to be rebased and a bit of touch up with paint.

She looks a bit less metal... and definitively the coolest pole arm user.
