Yurians, also known as crabmen, are a race of crustacean beings that inhabited the seas and rivers of Faerūn.
Ability Score Increase. Strength increase by 2 and Constitution by 1 and your Charisma score is reduced by 2.
Age. Yurians reach adulthood around age 15 and live to be about 75.
Alignment. Generally neutral but can be any alignment.
Size. Yurians grow to be 7 or 8 feet tall and weigh between 270 and 330.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet, and you have a swimming speed of 30 feet.
Amphibious. You can breathe air and water.
Claws. Your claws are a natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier and the target is grappled (escape DC equals 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus).
Natural Armor. You have a tough, chitinous exoskeleton. When you aren't wearing armor, your AC is 13 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Yurian. Yurian is a subtle language consisting of mostly hisses and clicks.
