Jester Theurge (3.5)

I was thinking of doing a Charisma-based Jester Theurge. What Divine class would work best for a Jester-type character (in terms of flavour and utility)? Divine Bard seems a bit redundant. I'm not too interested in power/optimisation, as long as it's a workable build and allows me to play the fool-type character.

If you wanted to go as secret-assassin-as-fool-cover story, you could be an Urban Ranger. I don't have Mystic Ranger on hand to see of those are stackable for a stronger caster, but they track with Gather Information checks instead. An urban ranger / jester theurge also seems like a good fluff build for a spymaster character as well.

You've already got Dragon Compendium open, so maybe look at Urban Druid just for giggles? I forget how much overlap there is between the Urban Druid list and the Jester list, but I remember that it's CHA-based, so there's at least some minor stat synergy.
