Hello and Good Morning, well at least its Morning Here.

I am In need of Good Feat Ideas For My Path of War Character

My Build is as Follows

ECL6
Race: Human (+2 STR +2 INT)
Class: warder (5)
Prestige class: Landsknecht(1)
Class Template: Bushi
Archetypes: Zweihander

I know I get a feat every odd level so it should look something like this right
1
3
5

I get one at the 3rd level of warder

I was Thinking of taking scarlet throne style
so I get the benefits of wielding a weapon in two hand, well I wield it in one

and My GM is Throwing in two Bonus Feats that can be taken at any level before the game start so up to six level

I also get a good amount of free feats do to my build including quick Draw Katana Prof wakazashi prof, combat Ref

The Game I'm in starts tomorrow so I need to have my character done to my Gm can look over it and make sure every thing is good

Alright here are my recommendations for your build, take them or leave them:

1. no landsknecht, it's based on using 1 handed weapons and zwei is based on 2.

ECL6
Race: Human
Class: warder 6
Class Template: Bushi
Archetypes: Zweihander

Abilities @ 20 point buy:

Strength: 13
Dexterity: 16
Constitution: 13
Intelligence: 14
Wisdom: 10
Charisma: 9

Put your bonus 2 from human into Intelligence, making it 16. Put your bonus 1 from level 4 into constitution, making it 14

Pick whatever 2 bushido sound best to you. I'd recommend courage and honor.

Maneuvers:

1:

S - Tidal Blade (Mithral Current)

2:

S - Iron Wave (Mithral Current)
B - Momentum Crash (Primal Fury)
S - Raging Hunter Pounce (Primal Fury)
B - Regal Blade (Scarlet Throne)
S - Rising Zenith Strike (Scarlet Throne)
B - Taunting Turtle (Iron Tortoise)

3:

C - Burnished Shell (Iron Tortoise)
S - Rippling Current (Mithral Current)
C - Tortoise Defense (Iron Tortoise)

This should be pretty solid, but change whatever you want, obviously.

Stances:

1:

Stance of Aggression (Primal Fury)

3:

Iron Tortoise Stance (Iron Tortoise)
Primal Warrior Stance (Primal Fury)

Skills:

Pick whatever floats your boat - as a warder you have a lot of skill points. I recommend maxing perception, sense motive, acrobatics, perform (dance), and intimidate at least... leaving you with ~18 skill points

Feats:

Advanced Study: Maneuvers (2 extra maneuvers, giving more flexibility)
Combat Expertise
Daisho Expertise (makes your Katana use dex for attack and qualify for weapon finesse... AND increases it's damage)
Deadly Agility
Power Attack (why you have 13 strength)
Take the Blow

+ all of the feats you get automatically (armor up to medium, int-based combat reflexes, proficiency with katana and wakizashi, mixed combat, quick draw, proficiency with weapons up through martial)

Gear:

+1 keen katana wielded in 2 hands (crit on 15-20!)
+1 Mithral breastplate
Belt of Incredible Dex +2 (making your dex total = 18)
Cloak of Resistance +1

This puts you at 18550 gold... hope you can have the extra 50?

Overall, this sets you up as a very offensive tank. You can pounce in, do a lot of damage, and make enemies take penalties for attacking party members.

Change whatever you want or ignore the whole post. Good luck :P

O_O Thank you. I love this build, its exactly what I was trying to pull off. Thank you very much. I love it

so I should keep in Bushi-Zweihander for the game right?

yep. as long as you're using your weapon with both hands, you benefit from both

ERR Could you help me with my Feats and maneuvers up to level 20
I doubt I'll get that far level 12 at the most but I like to have and idea of this build true potential.

I think you have a pretty good start here. Just use the warder and discipline guides that I posted in the other thread as you level up. It's difficult to truly screw up with the Path of War stuff... even harder if you use the guide and select maneuvers and the like that are green or blue.

You should probably start focusing on 2 or maybe 3 of the different disciplines... that's up to you in terms of what you want the character to do.

Anyhow, I think you're on your own from here... maybe try to make choices that you like and then ask specific questions here based on that (i.e. maybe ask which maneuver we recommend given 2 or 3 choices or which maneuver will better suit a certain goal.)

Good luck!

It's actually very difficult to build a bad PoW character. All the options you get are very strong and versatile, and you have a lot of room for error and plenty of leeway in choosing your build options at each level.

Weird thing about nodachis is that they are considered both polearms and heavy blades by pathfinder. Instead of daisho expertise, you could use polearm dancer with a nodachi for the same result, but with the brace quality added to your weapon, and the possibility of switching to a polearm when you need the reach, or when you get improved quick draw.
