Why Break Enchantment has a 1 minute casting time

Break Enchantment (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/breakEnchantment.htm) has a 1 minute casting time with verbal and somatic components, but why? I think I may have a video demonstration as to why that's the case.

Obviously more complicated hexes take a longer time requiring a full minute.
