My DM allowed magic beasts as wildshape.

I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations! My dungeon master let me use magical beasts for my wild shape forms.

Magic Beast isn't a type in 5e... what is being allowed here?

I don't think 5e uses the 'Magical Beast' as a type anymore, so you should clear that up with your DM before you go any further. Most of the old magical beasts are now 'monstrosities', but some have other types, like unicorns and Pegasus being celestial.

That said, a hippogriff is a decent choice. It's a large CR 1 flyer. Lotsa uses there.
