Crafting continuous magic items that emulate spells question.

If i wanted a continuous magic item for Greater Mighty Wallop, would i be able to make the weapon it's enhancing the magic item itself; like, a Minotaur's hammer that has GMW built in and does colossal damage all the time? Kind of like a property with a set gold value rather than a +1 or +2?

Yes, you could, but the requirements and costs are up to the DM. For example, your hammer might need to be enchanted as weapon first, then as slotless wondrous item, requiring both Craft Magic Arms and Armour and Craft Wondrous Item, doubling the cost for the second enchantment, and perhaps with a markup for multiple different abilities as well.


Basically, custom magic items can do anything, if you can pay the price (in gp/xp and DM bribes).
