Since he's the toughest paladin, I'd say a rhino.

Come to think of it, I think by the rules he can summon his mount even while paralyzed. It's a purely mental action.

He could then communicate through the empathic link that he was still alive and probably a general desire to be taken away.

Probably he either hasn't thought of it yet, has already summoned his mount once that day, or he's biding his time and waiting until he's left alone for a moment.

O-Chul does seem the warhorse type - perhaps his mount is a very large, rugged-looking horse, possibly resembling a Clydesdale. The ram idea mentioned above also seems plausible. For some reason, a giant, ferocious war-turtle also comes to mind. I'm not sure why.

I can't really see him having any type of bird, since he was specifically geared toward guarding the throne room - a flying mount would not be particularly useful in an enclosed area such as that.

Na, O-Chul stikes me as an older more 'traditional' guy, so he probably just has a normal warhorse. He and Miko probably used to gripe about young punks like Hinjo and Lien with their fancy non-standard mounts (O-Chul because he's a grumpy old man, Miko cause she was a A-R little witch).
