Not just of Golems but of really any Construct?
Are they still cheaper if using the Building and Modifying Constructs (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateMagic/magic/buildingAndModifyingConstructs.html) 'Build by CR' rules?
Since Simulacrums of creatures are half the original's HD the purpose of this would only be to gain access to noncombat monster superpowers.

Can one make a Simulacrum of an Awaken Construct-ed version of a normally unintelligent Construct? As Awaken Construct's duration is Instantaneous one imagines so.
Same question but for a Trompe L'oeil version of the creature?
For now I am going to assume yes to both as both read as though they are supposed to be applied to an existing creature rather than an idealized statblock. Though as an exploit this would sidestep the need to actually pay for the Awaken Construct spell's material component cost.

Is this scheme worthwhile at all or is one better off building the real deal the hard way?
