So, there are quite a few ways to get items from your person to in your hands as a swift action. What would you use them for? I presume mostly for highly situational scrolls/wands of like Glitterdust or Dimensional Anchor or what have you.

Specifically, any scroll or potion for which positioning matters. A glitterdust scroll, you could just as well draw as a move action and cast from where you stood, since it has a pretty good range. Obscuring mist, OTOH, is centered on you, so it's better to draw it as a swift, move to where you want it, and then cast it (or conversely, cast it where you are and then move, so that enemies don't know where you are any more).

Emergency healing scrolls are also a good choice, since they tend to be touch range.

Rods are useful for this. Many of them require touching a thing (e.g. Rod of Cancellation) and others modify your spells, which can work well with Kurald's suggestion. For example, that "mist-and-run" strategy he mentioned works even better if your cloud covers a 40ft. spread instead of 20.
