236. Mean, mean girl.

Tho' Rod of Lordly Might is just hilarious, too.

236 - made me laugh the most!

I have to go with 236, but 244 came close.

Kurald Galain
2007-08-09, 01:27 PM
226 for the win! Nowhere confusion!

TroyXavier

I'm going with 236 as well. 226 wasn't bad but not as funny as the polearms MP. 235 and 244 had their moments but 236 was just all around great and the last time Haley got to shine before losing her speech.

I have gotta say that "250 Oh no, he DIDN'T!" is the best of these, tho 236 gave it a good challenge.

226 for me, please, the best comic ever.

SKarious
2007-08-09, 02:38 PM
226, easy.
Excellent flow and fun to read time and again. Although the rod of lordly might was funny too.

244

Surprised at the 226 votes- are 'who's on first' knock-offs really that popular?

Ithekro
2007-08-09, 03:24 PM
226 - I like the wordplay. Sure it is an old joke, but old jokes that still work are good jokes...mostly.

Wolfe
2007-08-09, 03:52 PM
244, can I get some fries with that?

Cheers,

336 was the funniest overall imo, but I like the OotS for more than the funny and 250 was epic. So 250 it is.

226 -- an oldie but a goodie. followed closely (in my book) by 250

244 for me, but this was a close one.

David Argall

I'm not sure I can say that any of these 5 are superior to all of the last 5, but 226, 236, and 244 all clearly are, and it takes a little work to choose between them. But I will go with 226 as best of the 50, with 236 and 244 fighting for 2nd.

As the conclusion of Roy's character arc in the 200-250 mini-plotline, I'm going to have go for 250. Even though the others in this runoff are all gems of comedy, there's nothing like the satisfaction of a good Miko-telling-off. Especially from Roy.

Sir_Norbert

226 no question :)

The Best of the Quarter show will be right back after these messages.

Your attention, please. Please yell if you're paying attention.*

The thing is that people were voting on the closed poll. So I am posting here to bring this poll, the current one, to their attention.

* Don't. It's just a Blue Man Group reference. :smalltongue:

Okay, we now return to The Best of The Quarter show. Only here, in the GitP forum!

I LOVE Roy at 250. "I wouldn't touch your skinny uptight ass without a standard issue 10-ft pole you overbearing, self-righteous bitch."

Vargtass
2007-08-11, 03:44 PM
250. I think it's the standard issue 10 ft pole that gets to me. That, and subsequent two silent panels. And Elan's comment on assasins being involved. And the magnificient opening panel... etc, etc...

Woohoo! I'm back from vacation, on the internet, on the forum!

Sampi
2007-08-11, 04:17 PM
250 it is. 10-foot pole references are good, this one the best of the lot.

Crud! I meant to vote in this one... Oh well, my vote was for 244 as well, so I wouldn't have changed the outcome.
