Say two players wish to ensure they act on the same initiative. Is there anything RAW they can do to accomplish that?

As everyone knows, the Ready action is limited and doesn't change initiative. I'm wondering if there is something else I've missed.

If there is, I haven't seen it. I vaguely remember hearing that that was an intentional change, but can't cite a source for that.
