So as the subject line says, I'm inspired to make a Raylan Givens-type of character using PHB/SCAG races, classes, and backgrounds.
I have a PBP game coming up that just feels perfect for this type of character.
What I'm thinking so far is Half-Elf, Investigator (City Watch Variant), Paladin, Neutral or Lawful Good (So much debate about this, I'm sure).
What are some of your ideas, including Point Buy stats and everything listed above?
