If its a forum link, I think it's because their forums shut down a while ago, so the link likely just doesnt exist anymore

I'm guessing that the links you're clicking on are supposed to lead to guides / handbooks / discussions on the WotC boards (either "boards1" or "gleemax" or the like).

Those boards were terminated by WotC, so the links are now dead, and you just get a 404 redirect when you hit one.
