I'm no newb to homebrew but there is so much that it's easy to overlook nice material. I am familiarwith and will play just about any playstyle. I know this open-ended but I was given few restrictions. Medium creatures only but level adjustment isn't calculated so this game will most likely be of questionable balance. We start level 6. Just leave links or whatever to any homebrew creatures/classes you think are worth looking at. (Satire aside please)

Lol - this is a BAD idea.

How about a half-dragon/Deva (angel)?

Couldn't you just template stack to the ends of time as long as you're Medium?

Going for a more reasonable approach, Admiral Squish (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=9070651&postcount=72) makes some of my favorite homebrew races.

Plenty of base classes to look at in the Base Class Contests if you want to go over a ton of options. Check the first post of the chat thread in my signature to get links to past contests.

The "Giants and Graveyards" link in my signature leads to my collected 'brew. Lots of good classes there!

Where's your signature?

Also I considered the template stacking but this guy had issues with an optimized base race in a base game so I didn't want to give him that big a head ache but it's so tempting when it's that open ended plus I hope he knows what he's getting himself into even with gimped characters

I mean it's OP to the point that even if I play my character stupidly, he can be a Paragon no matter what else he which is a ridiculous template and since LA isn't calculated in ECL I don't need to bother with finding out it's LA

Huh, maybe you have them hidden? In any case, here you go. http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?329161-Giants-and-Graveyards-Grod-s-collected-3-5-revisions

As for your LA issue, I'd try a quiet word to the GM. Failing that, I'd talk to the other players to make sure they all use the same amount.

Actually no. For some reason that one singular post didn't have any sig attached. That's rather odd.

I dunno about the OP, but I see your signature in your second post, but not your first.
Oddity.

I have made some homebrew, myself. It's mostly classes, but there are a few other things. The link is in my signature if you want to check it out.

@Grod: It's possible you accidentally deselected the "Show your signature" option at the bottom of the post screen.

I'm looking through your classes. A lot of good stuff there. But wheres the BFC mage?
Your Conjurer is the other half of Conjuration (allies and teleports).

Am I just missing the mage with Grease and Blockade and Black Tentacles and various fogs and walls?

My revised Warmage acquired the BFC angle. Glad you're liking my stuff, though!

I've got a homebrew spell in my sig, with a few more related ones in mind once I work out the kinks: Quintessa's dweomershield (to defend against a chosen magic item/artifact), Quintessa's dweomercraft (temporarily grant magic powers to non-wand/staff items, ala Darrson's quick potion), Quintessa's dweomertrade (swap certain magic item powers, like +1 flaming longsword and +1 shocking greataxe become a +1 shocking longsword and a +1 flaming greataxe …or swap charges between wands).

Also I made this for a Pathfinder ranger:

FELLING AXE
Aura no aura (non-magical); CL —; Price 6 gp; Weight 6 lb.
DESCRIPTIONThe felling axe is the perfect tool for cutting down trees, chopping firewood, and breaking open wooden doors or chests. If a felling axe is used in combat, treat it as a two-handed improvised weapon that deals slashing damage equal to that of a battleaxe of its size; against the aforementioned objects attacks deal double their normal damage and may ignore the object's hardness.

That's a lot of blasting...
It's not completely terrible, but not quite what I had in mind.

Picking a random L9 Wizard(Conjurer) sheet out of my former character files.

L4 spells in his book are.
Greater Mirror Image
Greater Resistance
DDoor
Solid Fog
Black Tentacles
Heart of Earth
and a single damage spell, Orb of Force.

L3 doesn't have any direct damage spells at all.
Fly
Haste
Dispel Magic
Greater Mage Armor
Phantom Steed
Stinking Cloud
Anticipate Teleportation
Summon Monster III (and its unlikely I ever memorized that)

Open-ended requests for homebrew? That's like tossing chum in the water for us.
Adaptive (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?531734-Adaptive-(Shapeshifter)&p=22242199): An at-will shapeshifting class. It's a strong T3 class.
Aspirant (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=324352): An incarnum-powered monk. T3/4
Chorister (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=13303725): A priestly bard. Mostly healing and support, though one could build it for being a combatant. T3.

I've got other classes, but those are my favorites.

I mean, it is a WARmage. It's blasts and BFC aimed at dominating a battlefield. It's not going to be heavy on buffs or personal defenses or divinations or anything. No one fixed-list caster got an all-encompassing god wizard list by design. And they do get tons of skill points off a good list, and the potential for easy expansion.

That said, if you have suggestions for more interesting spells (from the PHB and SpC) that fit thematically, I'd be happy to hear them. I never got that much feedback on the thing.

I've decided on race(using:http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Pureblood_Vampire_(3.5e_Race) + Half-Dragon, gonna write background to include Pureblood vamps as vamps that did a ritual to appease a god who granted them greater power rather than a weird born-full-blood like it says because vampirism is a template not a race) but I'm looking for a strong CHA reliant class or melee class though I prefer classes that aren't just bland melee, I prefer revenuers or abilities that are unique and as high tier as you can ( Aiming for T1-2)

How about my Myth (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?307285-The-Myth-Tier-1-quot-Mundane-quot-Challenge-Accepted!)? The class was an attempt to make a tier 1 noncaster. They get "deeds" instead that let them do things like jump over mountains, deduce exactly what a stranger is doing from a thousand miles away, and build cities single-handedly.

As a Warmage it's fine the way it is I think. It just doesn't fit my playstyle. It's not just the spell selection, all it's class features are aimed at blasting as well. I'm rarely going to blast anything, so Energy Substitution as a class feature isn't very valuable to me.

I was looking for something halfway between that and Conjurer.

A Defensive/Utility Mage. BFC spells for combat, long-duration buffs (armor, resistances, anti-scrying, anti-teleport), other abjurations.

Not sure how the class features would go. Maybe an always on Mage Armor for himself (AC bonus 1/3CL+Intmod?), Extend spell bonus feat, bonus to Dispel checks, Dispel resistance for his own spells.

Yeah, I'm afraid that kind of falls into the cracks between the Warmage (BFC), the Warden (buffs), and the Seer (divination). One could potentially slip a class in there...
