What are some gods for a Arcane Domain Cleric.

So I'm making a Arcane domain firbolg cleric. The God he worships is Odin. And I got to thinking what would be some other gods of magic?

The only ones to initially hit me are from the egyptian pantheon. Thoth seems to be a good candidate, though you could probably also argue for Isis or even Ra as well.

Hecate/Hekate is a major one. Many gods & goddess are associated with Witchcraft all over the globe, though I'm not sure if you would consider that Arcana.

Any of the gods of wisdom or knowledge could work - Reality-adjacent deities such as Apollo, Thoth, Sia, Prometheus, Ganesha, Minerva/Athena, maybe even Shiva or the Holy Spirit, in addition to more traditional D&D-ities like Boccob, Tharizdun, Saint Cuthbert & Bahamut.

I personally think it would be neat to be a cleric of Ioun, and your divine focus is literally floating around your head.

For Eberron, there are Aureon and the Shadow. And you don't necessarily need a patron god in Eberron in the first place, so you can just worship magic itself or something.

Boccob: The iconic god of magic for the guy who wants nothing more than to sitnin a tower reading books all day. Might venture out to find more books.

Wee-Jas: My FAVORITE. For the arcanist that does something with it. Wee-Jas is meritocratic, so you earn whatever you have coming to you.

Going to second The Shadow (http://eberron.wikia.com/wiki/The_Shadow) & Aureon (http://eberron.wikia.com/wiki/Aureon). but for a firbolg, The Shadow is a much better (http://keith-baker.com/dragonmarks-61816-faith-and-wisdom/) choice given his Prometheus-like status to nonhumans who follow him.

Speaking of: Vecna

Tharizdun's clerics, to me, connect to something primordial that is the essence of the arcane, but they don't do an intellectual study of the arcane themselves. They are like the Temple of Elemental Evil (Which are arguably in his cult).

Vecna, on the other hand, is a dark god of spellcraft. They are very evil, but also very intelligent, finding the secrets of the universe and using them to further their goals.
They too will be killed on sight by paladins and clerics who know what they are.
