Summoning Guard Drakes

I'm volo's guide to monsters on the guard drake page, it mentions that arcane casters can preform the ritual to create a guard drake. My question is if you think that an arcane caster could do this (in AL or not) and what that might intale. How many downtime days would it take, and how many eggs would be created?

Probably not too different than what is referenced for Spectators. Knowing a summoning spell or two would probably help, as would ritual casting.

If you're not averse to the downtime UA there might be some good things in there you can extrapolate from.

AFB right now, but I remember reading something about the entire process taking about a week, and requiring fresh blood or scales of a dragon to create the eggs.

And that they are usually made with the blessing of the dragon providing these required materials, as a reward of some kind.
