I'm playing in two pathfinder games at the moment, one using mythic rules and one using gestalt rules. That got me thinking, I wonder if you could substitute one for the other. So basically every time the players would get a mythic tier, they can either choose a mythic tier or they can get one gestalt level instead. I don't think there would be any huge issues with having only partial gestalt levels on one side of the build. You might need to use fractional BAB and save bonuses, but I don't see too many other issues. The bigger question I guess is whether the two would be comparable power-level wise.
