Need to create a World Map

I.m starting my own campaign and I need something that will allow me to create world map.

Has anyone come across any software or a website that lets me do that?

Your best option is to visit the Cartographers’ Guild (https://www.cartographersguild.com), which has a talented and very supportive community of fantasy cartographers.

They have tutorials and discussion threads if you want to learn how to make maps yourself, and they also have a section for commissions if you’d like someone else to make a map for you.

www.inkarnate.com is also a pretty good resource. Not too complicated.

how nice do you want it to look?

A modern image editing program like gimp can make a nice looking map if you have the time.

A simple imaging editing program like paint will produce a completely functional if ugly map with very little effort.

As an alternative, the paper and pencil is a time honored tradition that allows you to produce a world map to the level of detail and quality that suits you.

I used this to make my current map for game. Its a bit tricky to use but once you get it it becomes easier
