Ok, looking for some ideas for using this bloodline mutation, and some 'common sense' about it's limits.

Am I correct in assuming this mutation only raises the dice 'cap' for spells?
i.e. with a bonus of 5, fireball is capable of 15d6 at 15th level (instead of 10d6 at 10+)

What about spells with indistinct caps?
With the same bonus, could Magic Missile fire 8 missiles at 15th level? (instead of 5)

Can people suggest some good low-level spells that could get a serious boost from this ability?

This is correct. Actually, if your caster level is 18th and you have a +8 modifier for str or cha, it is BETTER than Intensify spell (18d6), as Blood Intensity does not have a cap to the damage boost, aside from your caster level.

No. It only increases the damage dice that depend on caster level, not number of effects.


Can people suggest some good low-level spells that could get a serious boost from this ability?

Burning Hands
Shocking Grasp
Snowball

Burning Arc

Force Anchor
Silver Darts

Pretty much anything that does damage/casterlevel with a cap built into it.
