So here's my situation: my dm let the party choose their magic items at the end of the last adventure. I love the figurines of wonderous power so I chose the obsidian steed, but then I remembered that this character wouldn't be able to use it very often. The DM let some people change their magic items but when I asked he said no. He has been open to negotiation though, so I might be able to convince him.
The items I'm considering are:
Very rare- Robe of stars, ring of shooting stars
Rare- staff of swarming insects, pendant of wound closer, staff of healing, want of fireballs
Uncommon- bag of tricks
If I can word them in a way that is themed to the lower planes he'll be more likely to let me switch. So how should I convince him to let me switch?
Class: Bard lv 10, only full caster in the party
