1. What game system are you running? Dungeons & Dragons 3.5

2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be? What is the setting for the game? This game will take place in Eberron. Specifically a sandbox style game based in Stormreach.

3. How many Players are you looking for? Will you be taking alternates, and if so, how many? Five.

4. What's the gaming medium? PbP GitPG Forums

5. What is the characters' starting status? Starting at 0 experience.

6. How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with? Standard Malimar: Each character will start with 1,000gp and an adventurer's kit consisting of a backpack, 5 torches, flint & steel, 50' hempen rope, a waterskin, and clothing of your choice (excluding courtier's outfit, noble's outfit, and royal outfit).

7. Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? What are your rules on 'prestige' and/or homebrewed classes? No homebrew except for mine. Most first party 3.5 stuffs you can assume without question. Things that need to be refluffed for Eberron (such as campaign specific feats not found in Eberron), simply ask.

8. What races, subraces, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Will you allow homebrewed races or species? 'Prestige' races or species? Races from any of the acceptable sources are generally acceptable. If you want to play a creature with a level adjustment or racial hit dice, you may use a savage progression if one exist. If one doesn't, just ask me.

9. By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores and Hit Points? 30 point buy. First level: max hit points. Subsequent levels: half the maximum size of your hit die, plus 1 (d4=3, d6=4, d8=5, d10=6, d12=7).

10. Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so? I do use alignment. You may play any alignment. I'm a big fan of the belief that alignment is about motivation and not specific actions. Especially in Eberron where alignment is far more realistic. A CE motivated by coin and a LG character motivated by altruism could be in a group together. A LG and CE character could even then perform the same action, "save a town from a dragon", but their motivations for doing so would be drastically different. For the most part I believe most of what I have read here (http://wiki.avlis.org/Alignment) describing alignments over what I have read in other places. With all that said, technically pvp is allowed (but frowned upon severely).

11. Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it? There are no experience penalties for multi-classing.

12. Will you be doing all of the die rolling during the course of the game? Will die rolls be altered, or left to the honor system? If players can make die rolls, which ones do they make, how should they make the rolls, and how should they report them? Whatever is quickest. Roll your rolls in the IC forum or my die rolling forum. I'll check your sheets and roll stuffs like initiative (because it's faster).

13. Are there any homebrewed or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about? If so, list and explain them, or provide relevant links to learn about these new rules.

All common races in Stormreach can have two flaws. Flaws can be from any source here (http://eberronunlimited.wikidot.com/flaws). The feats that are allowed for these flaws must be feats that generally aren't "learned." Please just ask me and I'll tell you whether a feat qualifies or not. [Racial] Feats will always be allowed for your flaws. Dragonmark feats will always be allowed for your flaws. Favored in the House will be allowed for your flaws. Feats that change your physiology at birth, such as "Dragon Tail" will be allowed. Feats that look like it should have the [racial] tag on it will be allowed. If you have figured out the trend here then you don't have to ask.
Non-common races, such as Gray Elves, Aasimars, and neanderthals absolutely exists here in Xen'drik. They don't get flaws.

Spellcraft, Bluff, Concentration, Diplomacy, Disguise, Gather Information, Knowledge (Arcana), Sense Motive, Craft, Profession. The gifts of sorcery may manifest themselves across all the diversities of life. An orc raised as a barbarian, an elf noble, an orphaned halfling, and a human son of a librarian all may have been born with the gift. A Sorcerer may pick any one skills. It is added to his list of class skills for Sorcerer. This represents the diversity of the Sorcerer class.

Giants - As MM, except no LA on any of them.
14. Is a character background required? If so, how big? Are you looking for anything in particular (i.e. the backgrounds all ending up with the characters in the same city)? A background is required. Same goes for a picture. You should have your background end with you in Stormreach.

15. Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, roleplaying, or a combination of the above? Obviously a lot of hack and slash. But for the most part, it would depend on the bounties you pick.

16. Are your Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements, or will you be allowing access to non-standard material? What sources can Players use for their characters? First party stuff is permitted. Dragon Magazine and other 3rd party content is generally not permitted unless already called out as permitted. A beguiler could pick up a bloodline feat from dragon compendium (for instance). Nothing else from dragon compendium is permitted.

Posting Rate I'll try to post as needed.

Example Ratings:
Fun Rating: 7/10
Likely casual DM Approval: 2/10 - Too many variants: ignoring multiclass penalties, includes ToB and includes unofficial ToB errata
Mechanics match Concept: 8/10
Tier: 3.0

Fluff concept is of a somewhat cowardly and greedy ex-slave of a red dragon whom despite being perceived as incompetent, somehow accomplishes tasks exceedingly well.

Mechanically this is a trapfinder, party enhancer, and scout. At later levels when these aren't as important roles he switches over to the role of a tank capable of doing continuous constitution damage without the use of poison. He grants his spellcasters a +1 bonus to spell penetration and extra turns through white raven tactics. I see him using a spear and shield or a short sword and shield - basically a weapon that isn't flashing or overly large.

Red Dragon Totem gives him a continuous +5 to search. He maxes Search and Disable Device at lower levels. Then Use Magic Device and Spot later on (alternatively, hide and move silently).

Because heavy armor interferes with wings, and using a breath weapon distracts from the fun smiting to be had, this build uses the Dragonborn Mind aspect. The Hellbred Spirit aspect provides a net ability modifier of -2 Dex, +2 Cha. Despite being built on a Cleric base, it plays more like a paladin, using Smites and other fun tricks to inflict much pain.

Ordained Champion has to be refluffed to follow Bahamut. Towards that end, most likely, the War domain bonuses should be modified to either Good or Protection domains, since those are both Bahamut's bailiwick.

Fist of Raziel needs a much smaller refluff - it requires loyalty to the Tome Archons, but since both they and Bahamut inhabit Celestia, it's really no difficulty to refluff the class (and the Servant of the Heavens prereq feat) to constitute loyalty to Bahamut instead.

Note also that the Prestige Paladin dip adds Paladin spells to my Cleric list, which can be pretty darn spiffy. The Turn Undead in Prestige Paladin doesn't actually give me a separate source of Turn Undead, but rather stacks with my Cleric levels for Turn Undead purposes.

By level 19, I have 8 uses of Smite Evil per day, five from Fist of Raziel and one from Prestige Paladin, plus two more from Initiate of Bahamut, all of which use my Fist of Raziel boosts. In addition, I can convert Turn Undead uses into Smite uses through Ordained Champion, and those use my Fist of Raziel boosts as well.

Jopustopin decides to gain a PC level this year. Chooses Warblade, you know, because. Two Abyssal feats turns his alignment chaotic. Poor Jopustopin, CN! Found a stock artistic photo for fun. That's not actually me.
