Should I dip into rogue?

I'm making a kobold trapper who uses his alchemical formulas and traps that he either buys or makes using his many tool proficiencies from artificer, but i also feel like rogue would help out. i mostly want it for the cunning action and expertise in stealth, but having the thief abilities bight also really help. if i dip, how far and when?

Edit: I could also just go two levels in artificer for the tool expertise and alchemical formulas

Well what's your current level distribution and how many levels do you think the campaign will last? Because If you just ask for the build you'll likely get mostly level 20 stuff.
