So many of us know that large player races in 5e are (or rather would be) overpowered to say the least for various reasons. But good lord, I want to at least play a tauric races like a Wemic.

Hope is not lost, howerver!

I discovered a book on Drive Thru RPG that talks about variant rules for large tauric races, dubbed "Tauric Build". The book requires payment to own, so I won't list the rules here (Unless someone says I can?) But i find it interesting and a good start to balance large (or in this case tauric) cretures.

Here's the link to the pdf: http://www.dmsguild.com/product/207056/Tauric-Races-Centaurs-Wemics-Formians-and-more

Any thoughts on this?

I've not read that one yet, though I recall Kobold Press has centairs, and a smaller medium sized 'tauric' race in their Midgard setting.

Have to check that out now. I would think a Wemic should be medium since they're just taller than a human and shouldn't be that long.
