I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on which to use. Currently I have both, though the active scanning of Avast is turned off, and I only use it to double check high risk files. That was pretty much an arbitrary choice, however, and if one seems to be decidedly better than the other, it is an easy matter to switch them.
