270. Belkar and Miko is just too much. Memorable quote. Forever.

This one will be a cakewalk.

Why is there even a poll? 270 without a doubt.

257. Hey, I like rocket skates!

No, I'm going to say 265.

"...So then he said, 'Rectum? I darn near killed 'im!' And that's the story of how I became a paladin."

What can I say, those Crayons have something to them

257 is worth honorable mention, but 270 does get the nod.

270

with 257 as my honorable mention.

WOW, tough one! 270 is really funny, 273 is the beginning of the awesome crayon background exposition, 253 is goofy but funny, 257 has the rocket-skates and the hilarious last panel, and 265 is just great, because of the Miko-Hinjo contrast.

265 for me, I don't know why, I just love that strip.

Sorry, no commentary. :smalltongue:

This is a toughie. I love the rocket skates in 257, but 270 is probably a better comic what with the 'set something on fire' joke, one of my favorite running gags.

Ah, what the hell? 257

Oooo, hmm... 253. Love it.

257. Rocket skates save the day!
That "Gardener" kid seems awfully familiar, too.

Four absolute favorites... and the award goes to... 273! Quarrelling gods and the first dramatic appearance of the Snarl for the win!

Levain

"When in doubt...", I vote for #270, even though Belkar appears in but one panel there

270.

Priceless advice.

Kurald Galain

273. Because the sheer concept of the Snarl is t3h awesome.

Only comic I really like there is 270.

270, because it's true.

Although it's hard to say no to rocket skates.

Of those five, 253 wins it, but it should have been 262.

253, I quote that every time someone mentions Harry Potter...

270.

Am I the only one thinking Miko looks extra hot in those last 3 panels?

Deme

I'll say 273, if only for the title.

Oberon

270!
(265 as a close 2nd)

273 for the different idea!

270, none other is close.

Acyberexile
2007-08-14, 02:39 AM
270, but "growing more hateful" panel is pretty close. Still, my vote goes to "when in doubt set something on fire". :P

270 by a long shot

Ravenatog

265 all the way the last couple panels are so funny.

Nathander

I say 257. I'm honestly tempted to go with 270, which gets an honorable mention, but 257 is just brilliance with Thog's rocket skates. It's also one of the few times I was able to like Sabine and Nale.

Fitzclowningham

270. As a general rule, anything with Belkar and Miko is better than anything else.

265 Palladins arent all jerks. Wow that was a huge revelation. Burn for Miko! Even her comrades didnt like her.

Fighteer

270, but 253 is a very close second. Wantonly slaughtering popular, yet annoying, fictional characters is almost as great a running joke as the Belkar/Miko fight.

Ithekro

265. The Order has a much needed laugh even on the way to their trial.

If the color codiing of paladins verses soldiers is constant, then Belkar killed a paladin (the guard).

The rank and file AC guards are not paladins. Note the helmet. Almost everyone in AC wears blue. :-)

We've seen paladins with helmets. I was pointing out that aside from the helmet, his has the same uniform as Hinjo and most of the other male (and some female) Paladins. White with a blue stripe, blue cape (cloak) with a white stripe and blue shoes (also blue handled sword). The regular soldiers appear to wear grey.

Poll is closed.

As I predicted, a cakewalk. At least a Belkarwalk (http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail102.html), anyways.
