My warlock recently came in to possession of this item, and aside from its obvious uses I'm wondering if there are interesting uses beyond climbing or the like. One application I've thought of would be to use it almost in reverse to lift objects or creatures. Nothing says the end which moves upwards needs to be unattached. Since the rope can support 3000 pounds, could it theoretically lift that much?
