AFB (well, DMG,) and I remembered back in the "wild, wild, wild weirdness" games of OD&D there were items that raised a PC's WI ability.

Are there such things in 5e? What are they?

The book then becomes useless for a century.

Not the only benefit. Must be maintained through virtue.
