What is the heavy heaviest material in D&D 3.5. Specifically a material that can be made into Armor.

There's some very heavy stone armor in Races of Stone.

cancer mage is the traditional approach.

Now it's time for some math.

Let's say you've got an average sized pig, so 0.4467 cubic meters. Pig flesh is roughly analogous to human (hence its use in military and industrial applications such as ballistics, forensic, and crash dummies) and possesses a density of 985kg/cubic meter.

Osmium's density is 22,590kg/cubic meter.

So when does the pig gain enough weight to become denser than osmium?

The cutoff would be when the pig weighs more than 10,091kg or 22,246.847lbs (since the capacity chart is in pounds) Due to its granularity, you'll make the hop as soon as your strength goes up past a certain point.

assuming you're a medium creature with 2 legs, your strength needs to be 53, granting a heavy load of 25,601lbs. Assuming a starting strength of 11 (since you're a commoner) once festering anger starts manifesting symptoms, you get this strong in 22 days.

Nope. Thaalud Stone Armor has a +12 armor bonus, Anauroch: Empire of Shade p. 108.

this should help for volume (https://www.aqua-calc.com/calculate/weight-to-volume)

NB: The hardest metal is actually Obdurium, but I don't know if its the heaviest!

A neutron star is is made of liquid diamond... If you can kill the Neutronium golem sure a +100 craft check with your fire (and gravity) immune tools would probably be able to fix a suit of a million ton plate mail. Not sure that the liquid diamante can actually hold together if its taken away from the mass and thus the tidal forces of the golem body though...

On the actual topic of the thread, the spells Minor creation, Major creation and True creation have the limit be volume, not density. So technically you could create denser materials with that. Enjoy having armor denser than black holes

A neutron star is is made of liquid diamond... Not quite.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutronium

Neutronium is used in popular literature to refer to the material present in the cores of neutron stars (stars which are too massive to be supported by electron degeneracy pressure and which collapse into a denser phase of matter). This term is very rarely used in scientific literature, for three reasons: there are multiple definitions for the term "neutronium"; there is considerable uncertainty over the composition of the material in the cores of neutron stars (it could be neutron-degenerate matter, strange matter, quark matter, or a variant or combination of the above); the properties of neutron star material should depend on depth due to changing pressure (see below), and no sharp boundary between the crust (consisting primarily of atomic nuclei) and almost protonless inner layer is expected to exist.[citation needed]

When neutron star core material is presumed to consist mostly of free neutrons, it is typically referred to as neutron-degenerate matter in scientific literature.[4]

Neutronium is a non-atomic degenerate matter state.

Diamonds are carbon atoms.

Well, it is not known exactly how dense they are. Also infinity is impossible isn't it? It must be finite by all we know, IIRC it is considered infinitely dense due to not knowig and it being effectively the same although if someone can correct me on that one, feel free to do it.

lmgtfy is usually deployed when someone asks an idiotic question that they should have just googled themselves. I looked over my post and was unable to see myself having done so. I was unsure about the approximate volume of mountain plate and didn't know how to solve for it since i assumed it was made of some kind of special stone. flappeercraft was good enough to suggest it was probably just common stone, so lmgtfy caught me off guard. you're probably right and I was reading too much into it

Actually that's why general relativity breaks down beyond the event horizon or the Schwartzchild Radius. The thing is, that gravity is so strong that it keeps on falling in on itself, and no type of matter can withstand the tidal forces, meaning it keeps falling and falling towards the singularity which is an infinitesimally small point in space... which keeps getting smaller and smaller and more and more compressed, denser and denser, smaller and smaller... more and more crushed... Ergo; infinitely dense, small etc... This continues until forever or until it has evaporated due to Hawking radiation... Or until dark energy is so abundant that it simple disintegrates even black holes...

Indeed its not know what happens beyond that horizon, simply because no information is getting out, but the math supports the continues crushing of matter beyond the breaking point of atoms at the quantum level...

In online context, it is often used as a short-hand message "here, idiot, let me save you and me the work of typing in a search into google" and is used as a bit of a heavy handed slap across the forehead for "think for yourself".

It is kind of a relief to meet someone who hasn't encountered it in that context before, but I also feel like I should warn you that some people do get absolutely livid if you insist they Google something, since it isn't always what they look for as an answer.
