What kind of build would you put together in Pathfinder E8 if you could only take 1 level in any given class?

Things to consider:
*Spheres of Power is in use so caster level works like BAB when multiclassing between casting classes.
*Hybrid classes don't count as their parent classes.
*Fractional saves, BAB, and caster level are in effect.

Well, if you want to go full CL, you take 1 level in each full caster class (fey adept, Incanter, soul weaver, thaumaturge). If you are using core class conversions, getting to 8 with full CL is easy. If not, archetypes to get full CL in a sphere will get you closer. Or finish with mid casters and shore up the list CL via traits.

Result should be a serviceable caster with a smattering of class features that mostly will be weak from lack of scaling.

Not sure the lowcasters would be worthwhile as they rely less on the things that stack easuly from dups and more on features that a single level will do relatively little for.

Assuming the archetype conversions are in place, you'll mechanically be a better caster than basically anyone else because SoP casters are front loaded. You'll get CL boosts from Thaumaturge and Arcanist, +1 to 3 individual spheres from Wizard, Incanter, and Sorcerer. A level of Juju Oracle gives you the good Revelation for the Death sphere.

Also a level of Whitesmith Armorist means you don't have to concentrate on Enhancements to your gear, which is super sweet for a gish.

A level in all the base initiator classes (6 core + Rajah and Medic) would net you a bonkers amount of maneuvers. Archetypes would allow you to concentrate the initiation modifier spread slightly, but even with that problem you're still a kung fu master jack-of-all-trades.
