So I am curious to know if the rules for them differ from 3.5 I ask cause I am wondering if I can make one with a hand gun. I ask cause I remember there being a range feat that mentions aoos

In d20m, you only threaten squares with a melee weapon, not with any kind of thrown or projectile weapon. So, no AoO is possible with a gun. No feats in core or in Future enable it either to my knowledge.
