I know this is probably a noob question just can't think of it right now. In the special ability Increased Unarmed Damage the die goes up one step, so is that each die goes up (2d6=2d8 or 2d10=2d12) or how exactly does it go up.

If you are talking about how UAS damage increases as a creature increases in size, then this chart for Weapon size shows how damage scales: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#weaponSize

Choose the dice size for a medium creature, and see how it changes as it increases in size.

By default a medium creature does 1d4 for Unarmed Strike, the same as the entry for dagger damage in that chart. But a monk's UAS starts t 1d6, and increases like the entry for short spear.

If you are talking about the effect of a monk's belt, though, the UAS goes up like in the unarmed damage table as a monk increases in level.
