Pathfinder: Ear Piercing Scream vs Undead

With the undead trait, which says:
Undead are immune to death effects, disease, mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, phantasms, and patterns), paralysis, poison, sleep, stun, and any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless).
Now Ear Piercing Scream is a evocation spell that requires a fort save, would it still effect the undead or not??

NO, it wouldn't. Requires a fort save and doesn't affect objects means undead aren't affected.

Thank you, I thought it was the case but, the GM let me do it, but I had a nagging suspicion....
