Another trip down nostalgia lane, here's Megabyte from the Reboot TV show. He's a Virus from the Net, the plane of reality which allows computers from d20 Modern to operate (and which has a coterminous Far-Realm-esque plane called the Web). He also uses my rules for constructs and undead with Constitution scores (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?533099-Potential-houserule-Constitution-scores-for-constructs-and-undead&p=22283354#post22283354). I may do Hexadecimal, Gigabyte, and Daemon later on, though each of those viruses is arguably only suitable for Epic-level play. Might also toss in Sprites (humanoid energy constructs, similar to Viruses).

Contents
0. New Planes, Subtypes, Skills, plus Megabyte
1. Hexadecimal (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showsinglepost.php?p=22456026&postcount=4)
2. Gigabyte?
3. Daemon?
4. Nulls, Game Cubes, Guardians, Command.Coms?

New Planes
The Net
A plane as vast as the Astral Plane; a great black void full of shining Portals that act as gates. The Net is full of breathable atmosphere and has normal gravity (a creature can fall forever in the void unless rescued).

Each Portal is a mirror-bright sphere or polyhedron whose surfaces reflect the System it leads to, rather than the surrounding Net. Each System is a self-contained demiplane that generally consists of a city in the middle of an Energy Sea, though individual cities can vary greatly. However, each city always has a Principal Office, which serves as the seat of government and contains a Core (the energy source for the System). At the heart of the Net lies the Supercomputer - a powerful System from which the Sprites known as Guardians maintain order in the plane.

The Web
A bizarre, organic, alien plane coterminous with the Net and each System, this place is composed of cavernous voids enclosed by translucent gel and dimly lit with cobalt and crimson light. It is full of fiery orange Data Storms resembling spiral galaxies and is populated with the malevolent Web Creatures - legions of inscrutable aberrant outsiders that seek to conquer and consume Systems. Tribes of wild Web Riders (Sprites from the Net who are mutated by the Web's energies) are a constant danger as well. As with the Net, the Web is full of breathable atmosphere and has normal gravity.

Web Corruption: Any creature or object from outside the Web is slowly and permanently mutated by the plane's energy, unless it is completely covered by armour made from the carapaces of Web Creatures. [Currently envisioning a Taint system, TBD] (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/campaigns/taint.htm). Unlike most other creatures, Viruses may gain additional powers from this corruption.

New Subtypes
Energy (Subtype)
Energy creatures are constructs native to either the Net or the Web. Creatures with this subtype include Sprites (including Game Sprites), Binomes, Viruses, Nulls, and Web Creatures.

Traits
An energy creature possesses the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature’s entry).

Code (Ex): Energy creatures are compelled to act according to their programming, which serves as a mixture between a living creature's DNA and an outsider's alignment subtypes. For example, Guardians must always obey certain precepts (e.g. oppose Viruses, fight in Games), and Viruses must always obey their original User-instilled orders (e.g. destroy or Infect systems).

Energy Food (Ex): Unlike other constructs an energy creature breathes, eats, and sleeps. However, they consume energy food (e.g. energy shakes) rather than conventional rations.

Magnet Vulnerability (Ex): An energy creature in physical contact with a magnet takes 3d6 points of damage to each ability score for each round of exposure. This ability damage overcomes any immunity the energy creature would otherwise possess.

Natural Healing (Ex): An energy creature heals hit points and ability damage as though it were a living creature. It is healed by positive energy and damaged by negative energy.

Virus (Subtype)
Viruses are a race of intelligent, evil-aligned constructs with the energy subtype, native to the Net. They are programmed to carry out the whims of the mysterious User, generally for malevolent and destructive purposes. Viruses can be created in virtually any form but are generally roughly humanoid, and often possess one or more special powers granted to them by the User.

A virus possesses the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature’s entry).

Skills: A virus has a +8 racial bonus on Hide, Listen, Move Silently, and Spot checks. It receives skill points as though it were a fey creature.

New Skills
Knowledge (systems): Analogous to Knowledge (local); relates to Mainframe and other individual systems and gives a +2 synergy bonus on Gather Information checks therein.
Knowledge (the Net): Analogous to Knowledge (geography), Knowledge (religion), and Knowledge (the planes); relates to the User, the Supercomputer, and other broad concepts and gives a +2 synergy bonus on Navigate (https://www.rpgcrossing.com/srd/Modern/skillsorder.html#navigate) checks in the Net.
Knowledge (the Web): Analogous to Knowledge (the Net) but for the Web instead; gives a +2 synergy bonus on Survival checks in the Web.

"I come from the Net. Infecting systems, people, and cities, to this place—Megaframe, my domain. My format: Virus. To corrupt, and conquer!"

Megabyte is a ruthless and tyrannical virus, bent on conquering the System of Mainframe as a stepping stone to conquering the Supercomputer. Reigning over his Infected legions from the colossal fortress known as the Tor, he is a master manipulator - feared as much for his charm and intricate plots as for his tremendous physical prowess.

Plus, he plays a mean guitar solo.

Combat
Although he prefers to command his legions of Infected binomes from the safety of the Tor, Megabyte relishes physical combat (provided of course that he is in no personal danger). He strikes with his fists or the weaponry of his Throne, Infecting subdued opponents during and after combat.

Megabyte's natural weapons, as well as any weapons he wields, are treated as being cold iron for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

Claws (Ex)
As a free action, Megabyte may extend or retract sharp blades from the backs of each of his hands. While they are extended, his slam attacks become claw attacks.

Copy Read-Only Memory (Su)
As a full-round action, Megabyte may copy specific memories from a pinned or helpless opponent. Unless that creature succeeds on a DC 24 Will save, Megabyte gains access to particular facts known to that creature, such as passwords for glyphs of warding, symbol spells, and similar effects. This ability does not allow him to acquire feats, spell slots, skill ranks, or similar effects. This ability works on constructs and undead, and even on creatures with the Guardian or Command.Com subtypes. The save DC is Charisma-based.

Glare (Ex)
Once per day as an immediate action, Megabyte may give himself a +10 circumstance bonus on Intimidate checks and Strength checks for 1d4 rounds. While this effect is active, the sclera of his eyes are black instead of green.

Hardness (Ex)
Megabyte's metal body is as hard as cold iron. Fire, electrical and ranged weapon attacks (other than siege weapons and similar attacks) deal half damage to him; divide the damage dealt by 2 before applying the hardness. Cold attacks deal one-quarter damage to him; divide the damage dealt by 4 before applying the hardness.

Infect (Su)
As a full-round action Megabyte may corrupt the mind of a pinned or helpless opponent. Unless that creature succeeds on a DC 26 Will save, it instantly and permanently becomes fanatically (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/skills.htm#diplomacy) loyal to Megabyte and his cause, gladly dying in his service. This ability works on constructs, undead, and even objects (provided they are capable of animation, such as machinery). Infected creatures assume Megabyte's colouration and become lawful evil in alignment, which may affect their class abilities (e.g. for paladins, clerics, etc.). Infected objects obey Megabyte's telepathic commands. Creatures with the Guardian or Command.Com subtypes are immune to this ability. The save DC is Charisma-based.

The only way to free an Infected creature (other than with a wish or miracle spell) is to slay Megabyte, and then subject the creature to a break enchantment, freedom, or remove curse spell.

Powerful Build (Ex)
Megabyte is treated as a creature of his actual size or as a creature one size larger (i.e. Large), whichever is most beneficial to him at the time.

Self-Destruct (Ex)
As a full-round action Megabyte may engage his self-destruct. Treat this as an intensified (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/feats.htm#intensifySpell)delayed blast fireball (caster level 18th), save that the effect is centred on himself (automatically killing him), is triggered prematurely if he dies, and he may cancel it at any time as an immediate action.

Throne (Ex)
When encountered in his Tor, Megabyte often prefers to detach his legs and recline in his hover-throne. While seated his movement speed becomes a fly speed of 20 feet with perfect maneuverability, and he gains the ability to discharge four magic missile spells (caster level 18th) each round by firing the throne's weaponry but loses his melee attacks. He may mount or dismount from his legs as a full-round action.

Skills
Megabyte has a +30 racial bonus on Climb and Jump checks. As a virus he has a +8 racial bonus on Hide, Listen, Move Silently, and Spot checks and receives skills as though he were a fey creature.

Web Megabyte
https://i.imgur.com/1kPpf0F.jpg

"Attention. As you are no doubt aware, the Principal Office is now under my complete control. You're probably looking forward to one of my erudite speeches about me, Megaframe, the new viral dawn, et cetera et cetera. But I'm afraid I'm going to have to disappoint you. There is no grand scheme here. This is about revenge. Viruses are predatory by design, and it is time for me to follow my function. Prepare yourselves... for the hunt!"

This version of Megabyte has been hideously mutated by his exile to the Web. He has returned with several new powers and benefits, as shown below.

Large (Ex)
Web Megabyte has grown to Large size, and gained a +8 bonus to his Strength score and a +4 bonus to his Constitution score, in addition to the standard bonuses and penalties of being large. He retains the powerful build special quality, which now allows him to act as a Huge creature.

Tentacles (Ex and Su)
Web Megabyte loses his claws special attack, instead gaining the ability to project sinuous metal tentacles in place of his slam attacks. Any creature struck by the tentacles must save against his Infect ability, but creatures infected in this way have no Intelligence scores, Charisma scores of 1, Wisdom scores of 10, and the single actions only (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/zombie.htm) special quality, as well as ashen colouration.

Trojan Horse (Su)
As a standard action, Web Megabyte may make a melee touch attack to temporarily steal part of a creature's Code (or soul, as appropriate). Touched creatures must succeed on a DC 24 Will save or take Charisma damage equal to their Charisma scores, which allows Web Megabyte to assume their form (as polymorph) for as long as he chooses to maintain it.

I couldn't enjoy this any more then I already do, Please make more from Reboot, you did a great job of making Megabyte as he appeared in the show and while power creep has made me feel like his HP and such might be a bit low this is looks like it would be super fun to run. Might need to do some reskinning but otherwise I don't think it needs too much with the Web Megabyte getting those fun tools so jacking souls and making all the minions.

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I would have preferred to have him at a lower CR but there was no getting around his colossal Strength score...maybe could be reduced to CR 12 or so with some adjustments. Hexadecimal should be much more powerful fluff-wise but in game terms I'm only giving her a few more HD.

"So many moods... so little time."

Hexadecimal is Megabyte's sister, the self-styled Queen of Chaos. Both more powerful and infinitely less rational than her brother, she exists only to forment chaos and wreak havoc in a system. Where his plots aim to conquer Mainframe as a stepping stone to the Supercomputer, she has almost destroyed the system on more than one occasion.

When not amusing herself with her latest scheme, she resides in her towering Lair on the blasted island of Lost Angles, accompanied by her camera-cat-familiar Scuzzy, the boisterous Mike the TV, and her legions of nulls.

Combat
Hexadecimal is happy to lunge at a foe with her talons extended, but her immense power rarely makes that a necessity. She employs telekinetic powers, energy powers, and null swarms to great effect. She delights in scrying on foes intruding in her lair, and does not hesitate to use reality revision to teleport or telekinetically manipulate them as she wishes.

Hexadecimal's natural weapons, as well as any weapons she wields, are treated as being cold iron for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

Hardness (Ex)
Hexadecimal's metal body is as hard as cold iron. Fire, electrical and ranged weapon attacks (other than siege weapons and similar attacks) deal half damage to her; divide the damage dealt by 2 before applying the hardness. Cold attacks deal one-quarter damage to her; divide the damage dealt by 4 before applying the hardness.

Looking-Glass (Su)
Hexademinal's looking-glass is an oval, levitating, gold-framed mirror suspended in the air of her Lair. It allows her to scry on any creature or location at will. She may communicate with creatures reflected in the mirror at her option, as well as target them with her telekinetic and reality powers. If shattered, the looking-glass becomes a gate (planar travel version) to the Web for 1d4 minutes.

Masks (Ex)
Hexadecimal's masks are the only thing that keeps her power in check. If they are ever removed (e.g. via a vorpal weapon, a carefully worded wish, etc.) she is dazed and must make a Fortitude save (DC 30) each round as her powers spiral out of control, telekinetically seizing all unattended objects within 30 feet and whirling them around her and starting an earthquake. Once she fails one of these Fortitude saves she explodes, dealing damage equal to her current power points to all creatures and objects within one mile. Only restoring her masks can prevent this effect.

Nulls (Su)
As a full-round action, Hexadecimal may summon a flood of nulls (energy-draining, indestructible, rainbow-coloured, squealing slug-like creatures that were once sprites before they were degraded by the User's Game Cubes). Treat this ability as creeping doom, save that the summoned swarms are immune to all harm and they deal additional negative energy damage equal to their base swarm attack, ignoring hardness. The nulls remain until Hexadecimal chooses to dismiss them, and she may use this ability any number of times in sequence.

Hexadecimal's power over nulls allows her to produce other effects, at her and the DM's option. She may merge contiguous null swarms into the shapes of great psudopods, with slam attacks (including an equal amount of negative energy damage) as animated objects of their Hit Dice. She may even temporarily restore the intellect and memories of particular nulls.

Psionics (Ex)
Hexadecimal manifests powers as a 20th-level wilder (power points/day: 443, powers known: 11, save DC: 20 + power level). She draws her powers known from the wilder list and the psychokinesis discipline.

1st: -
2nd: energy push, psionic levitate
3rd: telekinetic force, telekinetic thrust
4th: energy ball, telekinetic maneuver
5th: psionic plane shift
6th: psionic disintegrate
7th: -
8th: bend reality, psionic greater teleport
9th: reality revision
Talons (Ex)
As a standard action, Hexadecimal may extend or retract deadly talons from her nails. While they are extended, her slam attacks become claw attacks with the keen and vorpal properties and her reach increases to 10 feet.

Transfinite Power Reserves (Ex)
Hexadecimal's power is almost inexhaustible. She is treated as having the wild surge (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/classes/wilder.htm#wildSurge) +6 ability, save that she may use it in conjunction with her Overchannel feat and never suffers psychic enervation. Additionally, she may spend her hit points as though they were power points, and conversely may subtract any damage she suffers from her power points instead of her hit points. Finally, she ignores the first 40 points of damage from negative energy sources and reduces the amount of power points she would lose from hostile effects (e.g. psychic vampire) by 40.

Unearthly Grace (Su)
Hexadecimal adds her Charisma modifier as a bonus on all her saving throws, and as a deflection bonus to her Armor Class. (The statistics block already reflects these bonuses).

Skills
Hexadecimal has a +8 racial bonus on Hide, Listen, Move Silently, and Spot checks and receives skills as though she were a fey creature.

Hexadecimal has undergone numerous transformations over her life, as befitting someone of her mercurial nature.

Red Hex
This is the "standard" version of Hexadecimal, with statistics as given above.

Web Hex
This is Hexadecimal after her possession by a Web Creature (which escaped after the destruction of her first looking-glass). Reduced to reptilian hissing and unable to use most of her powers, this Hexadecimal is consumed by an alien malevolence and driven to merge with Megabyte to form Gigabyte. However, she subconsciously draws nulls from across the system to resist her possession, encasing her in the colossal Nullzilla!

Black Hex
Megabyte seized an opportunity to enslave his sister, implanting her with power-limiters and controlling her with a torture-collar. This version must obey Megabyte's commands but otherwise functions as Red Hex (especially once she breaks free...). Eventually, Bob the Guardian healed her mask into a functional face, transforming her to a chatic neutral alignment in the process.

White Hex
Through a complicated series of events, Hexadecimal was transformed into a sprite. In this form she loses the virus subtype and almost all her powers (save for very limited control over nulls), and gains the sprite subtype and a chaotic good alignment.

Gold Hex
This Hexadecimal has tapped into Mainframe's Core to restore her powers. She functions as Red Hex, save that she has 24 Hit Dice, a Strength score of 80, Constitution and Charisma scores of 34, hardness 20, and the Colossal Build and Epic Blow special abilities (see below).

Colossal Build (Ex)
Hexadecimal is treated as a creature of Colossal size or her actual size category, whichever is most advantageous to her at the time.

Epic Blow (Ex)
As a full-round action Hexadecimal may deliver an epic blow. Treat this a slam attack, save that any creature hit by the attack is hurled backwards at a speed of 300 feet in a straight line (even if that line would make the creature fully airborne). An creature without the ability to fly or otherwise halt its arc is helpless and will continue on indefinitely until it hits a solid surface or is brought down by gravity; even creatures that can fly are stunned for 1d4 rounds. Creatures take 1d6 points of falling damage (to a maximum of 20d6) per 10 feet travelled when they hit a surface or land.

The effects of Hexadecimal's Epic Blow apply to any creature struck by her energy push power.

Psionics seemed the logical choice for Hex at first, but now I'm thinking she'd just be better off with psi-like abilities. In the show she mainly used telekinesis, nulls, energy blasts, and a few other niche powers that could be covered by reality revision as a psi-like ability.
