Nekbraker is in the centre at G1, alongside Goldtune and Moonswood at F1 and H1 respectively Blackridge is off at C1 at an angle.

As the challengers take there positions, five spear-and-shield-wielding humans in chainmail appear on the far side of the room. They want to kill you.

First moonswood steps forward, casting Entangle centred on pint F/G 9/10, then Goldtune and Blackridge Unleash Bolts of eldritch magic at anyone caught by the vines focusing on bringing down one target before moving to the next and Neksmasher strides forward 25ft to G6 and hurls a javelin before stepping 5ft backwards to G5.


All but S5 make a DC 13 strength check or are restrained, area counts as difficult terrain.

The guards struggle against Moonswood's magical vines, but all 4 are restrained by the spell.

Goldtune misses, but Blackridge and Nekbraker's combined attacks take one of the restrained soldiers down (S3).

The trapped soldiers struggle to free themselves from the vines, while the free soldier moves up and stabs at Nekbraker.

Blackridge misses, but Goldtune and Moonswood's combined attacks take down a soldier (S1). In his rage, Nekbraker manages to injure S5.

The trapped soldier remains struggling within the vines. The other two engage the raging Nekbraker.

As the battle turns into a melee Nekbraker continues his assault on S5 now joned by Goldtune who charges forward with his rapier, Blackridge moves to E4 to attack S5 and moonswood attacks the nearest solider available.

Did both Goldtune and Blackridge move in with Rapiers? Both of them should only have +4 on a rapier attack, and you didn't specify where Goldtune moves to. Also, is it ok to assume when targets aren't specified, that you attack the most injured-looking target in range?
Moonswood's arrow takes S5 in the throat, and the soldier falls. Both Goldtune and Blackridge miss with their rapiers, but Nekbraker cuts their target (S4) in half.

The remaining soldier moves up and takes a stab at Blackridge.

Sorry, I was posting those from a different device and had an older version of the sheet open. They did both move in with rapiers, that's a good assumption.


As the bodies hit the ground Moonswood advanced and retrieved his arrows and loot from the foes, Goldtune uses the aid action on Blackridges attack, Blackridge attacks with a rapier, if the solider doesn't drop Nekbraker will grapple him.

As Blackridge skewers the last soldier, he gains the blessing of his dark gods - that's 4 temp hp, btw, not healing.

Spend hit dice and heal as desired - you have a short rest. Reposition your characters when you're ready for the next fight.

Nekbraker rests and heals [roll0], Goldtune gives inspiration to Nekbraker, Blackridge and Moonswood drag the bodies and pile them in E2 and F2. Sticking the looted spears into the bodies on the bottom and using that to support the pile hiding behind this low barricade at E1 and F1. Nekbraker moves to G4 Goldtune to D4.

Sorry, the bodies of the soldiers actually disappeared directly after they died. Does that change any positioning?
Blackridge should be at 6/10 hp with 4 temp hp, and Nekbraker is at full.

Right, forgot they were required to return to the starting area. Moonswood fires an arrow at the man, Goldsong readies an action to cast Thunderwave once two enemies are within range, Neksmasher readies an action to hit the first enemy 10 feet away from an ally with his great axe, if the hounds are occupied with thunder wave and Nekbraker Blackridge will cast Hex on the man and then blast him.

Goldtune's spell shreds the two first dogs to charge, while Nekbraker's axe makes short work of the third. Both Moonswood and Blackridge land their attacks on the thug.

The thug moves forward and hurls a javelin at Blackridge.

First both Goldtune and Moonswood fire a spell and an arrow respectively in the direction of Lidda. While Goldtune also blows a few notes on his panpipes inspiring Nekbraker.


Given the high level of the combat danger I will take this one or two actions at a time for now.

Lidda dashes to a corner and fires an hour at Goldtune. Sariah dashes to the nearest corner of the room and throws a pinch of sand into the air, chanting at her enemies.

A couple things: 1. You can't move as part of a readied action, and 2. The grappled condition only ends movement - it doesn't give advantage to any attackers

Nek braker rushes forward and grabs at Tordek, but he manages to slip away. Goldtune's blast misses.

Tordek slashes at his assailant. Jozan heals Lidda, then calls down a lance of light onto Nekbraker.

Ah, I meant to shove him not grapple him, I really should check I'm doing what I think I'm doing especially when posting that late

Goldtune and Moonswood attempt to bring down the healed rouge the moment she gets back on her feet, Blackridge continues blasting the Fighter while Nekbraker brings his axe to bare on the same target
