Maybe O-Chul will have a dramatic comeback, but so far I feel like this really shows that most of the matches between the top 6 have been entirely too close to draw any conclusions about who would be likely to win between any two.

He's Obi-Wan Kenobi with a much higher Con, and without all of the lying. He's Uncle Iroh (Avatar: The Last Airbender), without... well, without as silly of a sense of humor, at least. He's cool to all of us who gravitate toward good, honorable, kind mentor types, especially when they're comically badass.

Interesting. O-Chul's generally higher on my list of favourite characters, but Elan has gone through much more of a journey as a character, and it's been a good one. I've liked watching him grow up, especially in BRITF.

So this round, I'm saying Elan.

The odds are against pulling that far ahead without it reflecting the population at all. But we have had it happen (Blackwing!)

Still I shouldn't have said it "shows" that, more that it helped me realize what I should have seen all along: that I shouldn't be surprised if Roy or Elan do well even though they didn't make it out of the quarterfinals, what with how close all of the races were.



Also I predict Redcloak will win all his matchups.


He only has two matchups left-- there's a very good chance he'll take them both. My prediction: Redcloak won't win any matches by more than 2.

I like Elan a lot. He is inspiring because he is good to the core. He is funny because....well, what isn't funny about Elan - Maybe only "Neutralize Poison". which is poignant. Elan is a superb character, but O-Chul is #1 for me.

How the Paladin Got the Scar is what really sets O-Chul apart from most other characters in this comic. It is unfortunate that non-Kickstarter people haven't had the opportunity to read it yet, but eventually they will get that opportunity, I hope (assuming they have the ability to pay for it).
