Weapon Question

Alright, so I was looking for a specific weapon for an idea that came up and two questions derived

1) Is there a write up of the Latarjang (Think that was the name)? If that isn't the name I am talking about the weapon the whirler (the night elf Ellder) in Warlords: Heroes.

2) If a deity with the war domain gives martial weapon prof for their chosen weapon but the weapon is an exotic how do you work this? I feel it is fair to say that exotic are included and it was a simple misttake, but I think RAW wise it is only martial weapons right?

The stats of a lajatang can be found in Complete Warrior near the end of Chapter 4.

For your other question, I'd probably allow EWP instead of MWP, but you're right that it's not what the rules say.
