Eberron Mournlands and Detect Magic

The flavor text for the Mournlands makes it sound like the entire area is still incredibly magically active. If a character were to use Detect Magic, would the entire land radiate magic? If they focused, what schools might they detect? Would the dead-gray mist be magical?

Given how bizarre things can be in the Mournlands, if someone used Detect Magic my default answer would be: "Yes, no, purple, fish, and make a Will save with DC maybe."

I'd say probably all of them. Id also say that walking around there with spells constantly active (even cantrips) may not be the smartest idea.

Detecting one or two schools strongly might be a warning that a Living Spell is forming near you.
