Martial Study/Stance Question

Do the Martial Study and Martial Stance feats from ToB require you to select maneuvers that are appropriate for your initiator level, even for non-martial adepts?

The text of the feat only says that you have to meet the prerequisites, but it seems a little odd, because it would allow someone to pick even high level maneuvers, because some don't have prerequisites.

Yes, you need to meet the minimum initiator level required. Being a requirement that must be met prior to taking the maneuver/stance, it is by definition a prerequisite.

You use 1/2 your level to qualify if you're a non martial adept.
