Can you heal yourself by using a Heal skill? I know you can heal yourself with using a healing spell but that's not what I'm asking.

You cannot provide long-term care to yourself. I think you can stabilize yourself provide you have some means to stay conscious while you're bleeding out. And if you're playing Pathfinder, I don't believe anything prevents you from treating deadly wounds on yourself, either.
