Chameleon and Metamagic

So I've got a chameleon that selected Extend Spell for his floating feat, and prepared some spells with it. But then I maintained arcane focus through the day, refreshing it in the middle of the night, and in the morning Extend went away with some extended spells left over! The question is, what happens to those spells? Do they just disappear, or do they stay Extended even if I select a different feat? Thanks!

I would imagine that so long as you maintain your Arcane/Divine focus, the spells remain in your memory, with Extend still applied to them.

They would remain until cast or replaced with new memorized spells, or until you changed your Arcane/Divine focus (as applicable) and lost access to the spells.
