Vaarsuvius: con man?

Okay, we all know that Vaarsuvius is sometimes a bit sneaky (like, for example, doing things like turning invisible and trying to sneak out of Azure city. However, I'm starting to see evidence that Vaarsuvius may be up to no good. What's my evidence? My evidence is the latest strip (http://www.nuklearpower.com/latest.php) of 8-Bit Theater. Isn't that pretty much identical to how V told the OOTS that s/he was married? (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0223.html)? Now, I'm normally not one to create elaborate cross-universe conspiracy theories, but there hasn't been a new OOTS in a real long time and I've gotten bored. So, is Vaarsuvius in reality a far more kleptomanical thief than Haley? Is Vaarsuvius merely manipulating the party to suit her own ends? What do you think?

Meh, I liked this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53957) better, where it implies that V is married to Theif, not that V is Theif.

If you read Origin Of PCs, this theory is a bit unlikely.

Apart from that... we KNOW that V. is there to reach "Ultimate Arcane Power" from him/herself. S/he made that clear on several occasions. Well, and apart from that... Vs quest for power does not mean s/he will not help out friends. Bad chances for Belkar, better ones for the nicer people V knows...

I dont know.......if V was a theif dont you think V would have picked a diffrent class then wizard? Or better yet V became a Arcane Trickster? Well if V dosent multiclass to a more theif like class then I doubt V is a theif but rather somone that dosent want to get in much hassle for what he/she wants.
