Hello again all,

I am currently building a new pantheon to go with a campaign setting that I am designing. I was hoping that the Playground would be willing to look over what I have so far. This is really hard to read, would help is you indented it like scientific notation I spaced mine but then in removes the spaces :smallmad: A space between each statblock?... Just some notes below

-Overall
-Do these gods have class levels? Sure, some can cast spells, but a max of 5th level is incredibly weak.
-Some of these abilities are "unbalanced" in the sense that some have larger lists than the others.
-I would suggest having like a (god) subtype that applied to all of the ones presented here (just to make it easier to read) that basically gives what all of them have in common, i.e "The (deity) subtype provides the creature with the ability to cast up to 5th level spells from his/her list up to 2/round"
-Everdistant Mind
-do you have any perceived problems with awakening 2 X/round?
-Serpent Lord
-Any assassin spell includes 4th level, which kinda goes out of line of other god's spellcasting
-Is there a save to avoid the CON damage? Is there a save of avoid any god's effects?

This could go better in the homebrew subforum, which is just for this. More people would probably reply, you can just report your own post and ask a mod to move it for you to that subforum.

Yeah, originally these were all tabbed so that they were organized more clearly, the forum seems to have removed all my formatting. Answering your questions in order:
#1: The deities themselves? No, because they aren't supposed to be killable, but you should be able to interact with them, so they do have the "stats" given by their abilities. Any avatars the deities create will probably have stats and class levels though. I thought 5th level casting seemed weak too personally, but my previous houserules were universally-declared overwhelmingly strong, so I tried to dial it back a bit.
#2: When you say larger lists are you referring to spell lists, things they can perceive, or actual ability lists?
#3: The Everdistant Mind is a goddess of Sentience, so awaken ultimately was a consciously-made flavor choice rather than one done in regards to mechanics.
#4: I know the Serpent Lord gets 4th level, but the Assassin spell list is rather small (to the point that I think they have less spells on their list than the Warmage even), so I didn't see the harm in just giving him the whole list.
#5: No, I purposely did not allow for saves when it came to divine abilities, both because they were intended to be buffs unique to the deity's portfolio, and because these are meant to be beings of unfathomable power in their unrestrained forms.

Already did that, or at least tried to. If the thread is still in the wrong forum when I wake up tomorrow I'll probably resend the request.
